Dear QCSS Community,

We are so happy to welcome you into the TMSA family. We looked forward to the day when we would incorporate Queen City STEM School officially into the TMSA's educational ecosystem. QCSS had established as a TMSA replica school in 2015 but could not be a part of the TMSA family and get a TMSA name due to some technicalities.

In June, the QCSS Board dissolved itself to merge with TMSA Public Charter Schools. The merger will tremendously benefit your school by providing direct access to TMSA's educational ecosystem, expertise, and experience in STEAM education with a whole-child focus in an inclusive community.

In March, we formed TMSA's Strategic Positioning Platform to produce a dynamic plan reflective of the needs of the communities we serve. We revised our mission, vision, and values and adjusted our school names and logos to reflect our shared vision better.

In line with our Strategic Positioning Platform, we want to rename QCSS as The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - TMSA Charlotte. We request your input about this exciting moment in your school's history.
