Each year, the celebration of National School Choice Week is vital for Queen City STEM School.

Every child is unique, and all children learn differently. With school choice, every family can choose the best educational options that best fit their children. Without school choice, we would not have created Queen City STEM School's safe, nurturing, and culturally-responsive learning environment. More than 800 parents choose QCSS, and we have the privilege to serve more than 800 students in our school. We say proudly: We Chose QCSS! We Love Our School!

Send Your Video Message and Join The Celebration!

As part of our celebration, we will be asking families and students to share some appreciation in a few ways.

• Send Your “School Choice Dance for 2021” Video: Students, individually or with families, can video performing the School Choice Week Dance for 2021. You may view the information here. You can then submit the video to the google folder provided below. We will share these with our stakeholders, and the best videos will also be shared on January 28th!
• Send Your “I Love QCSS Because...” Video Message: Students and families can also send a video message of “I love QCSS because..” with a brief testimonial of how school choice has had an impact on their lives. You can then submit the video to the google folder provided below. We will share these with our stakeholders, and the best videos will also be shared on January 28th!
• Write Positive Reviews of QCSS: Families can write positive reviews of your schools on local websites. Successful school choice is often built upon referrals and positive reviews from other families. Now, it is your chance to do that!
  
  • Google Review: You can just simply click HERE and leave your review on our Google profile.
  • GreatSchool.Org & Niche.Com: You can also review your school on greatschool.org or niche.com by simply searching QCSS in their search engine.
  • Your Social Media Accounts: Share on your personal social media pages about why you chose QCSS and how other families can benefit from it as well!

Folder to Send Your Videos:

Please upload your videos to the folder below. Before you send your videos, the tips below would help you create the best video message possible.

1. The video message should be 30-60 seconds long.
2. The camera should be of the best quality you can use, and you should record in a quiet, well-lit area.
3. Please do not hold your phone vertically (or in portrait orientation) while recording. Holding it horizontally (or in landscape orientation) makes your video seem more aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to watch when viewed on a widescreen.
4. Children and parents are welcome to share their voice together!
5. Once complete, please submit the recording to the provided google folder below.
